Eating at The White Lion Inn means a warm welcome, attentive service, choice, freshly prepared and excellent quality dishes complemented by a fine selection of wines, award winning real ales, soft drinks and warm beverages.

We complement our regular food menu by adding cheifs special seasonal dishes to ensure that our food offering remains as fresh to our customers as the meals served.

The Inn arguably has the largest individual pie selection in the county if not the South and West of England with 9 varieties. Using the finest quality ingredients our hand made pies are baked to perfection in order to provide the customer with a very special range of savoury individual pies and pasties. The celebrated and award winning pie range includes, Spanish beef and chorizo pie, Minted lamb and vegetable pie, Thai spicy chicken pie, Beef and vegetable pie, Wild mushroom and asparagus pie, Chicken of aragon pie and Sweet potato, goats cheese & vegetable pie. 

To complete your meal we have a tasty and tempting selection of home made sweets to choose from which are prepared daily by our chefs. 

Lunchtime meals are served between 12.00 and 2.30 pm and evenings between 7.00 to 9.30 pm Monday to Thursday.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtime meals are served 12.00 to 3.00 pm.  You can dine in the main 50 seat dining areas or more informally at the bar, but please be aware it is advisable to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. When the weather permits meals are also served outside in our attractive 50 seat courtyard garden.
