Our four bedrooms offer country style comfort and value for money Bed and Breakfast accommadation in one of the most picturesque locations in the South of England and our aim is to provide our guests with "The Great Escape" to the country.
Each bedroom is situated on the first floor of The Inn and three are equipped with wash basin and hot & cold water and all with television, dvd, free view, radio and tea & coffee making facilities. The two guest toilets and bath & shower rooms are conveniently located on the same floor and just a short distance from each bedroom.
Free Wi-Fi is avaliable to our guests and customers so should you wish to search the web for information, make email contact with your family, friends or the office during your stay you are free to do so.
The rooms are as follows:
Bushell (3) - Is a large south facing room with a king size double bed.
Tom (4) - Is a large family room with a double bed and a single bed.
Dick (5) - Is an attractive large bedroom with twin beds.
Harry (6) - Is again a large room with feature Victorian fireplace, twin beds.
At no extra charge Childrens cot's are also avaliable if required to remove your need to pack and carry a bulky travel cot of your own. Call a member of staff prior to your visit to reserve a cot and one will be placed in your room on arrival.
We believe Breakfast to be the most important meal of the day and a time for continued relaxation. Our friendly staff the evening before will be pleased to take your breakfast order and the time you wish it the following morning to ensure you have the meal you require served to time at your table.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 am and 9.30 am Monday to Friday and 8.00 am to 10.00 am Saturday and Sunday.
Should your schedule mean you have to leave us before normal breakfast times, you will not have to leave The White Lion Inn hungry as we can prepare a continental breakfast for you to take away.
We take pride in serving the classic and traditional full English breakfast using fresh local and free range produce. Prior to serving the full English though, cereals, fruit juices, toast and fresh coffee and a selection of teas are also avaliable to further set you up for the day. Should you prefer something a little lighter than the full English please discuss your requirements with a member of staff who will ensure all reasonable wishes are accommodated.
